Suzuki Radio Removal Guides

To locate your serial number, the first step is removing your Suzuki radio from the vehicle. Unfortunatly this is an essential step for online decoding, as we provide the original code for your radio based on the serial number, unlike main dealers who use your vehicles registration number. This means that our codes are a lot more accurate, especially if its a second hand unit or been replaced at any stage.

1. Simply insert the radio removal tools or equivalent into the two or four slots to in the corners of the radio as illustrated below.
2. Most radios require you to push the tools away from your radio which causes the clips to push into the radio and away from the dashboard to release
3. If removing a peugeot 206 as above simply push straight in about 1 inch and the clips will automatically release
4. The radio should easily slide out without too much pressure.

Suzuki Serial Number Location Guide

Once you have successfully removed your Suzuki car radio, Locate the serial number by inspecting the top and right hand side of your radio.

An example of serial numbers commonly found on Suzuki Car Radios :

• BP0145Y5455521
• GM0300W7283773

With Blaupunkt radios we also require the part number, this is 10 digits in length and will always start with the number 7 for instance

• 7 649 852 320

Before getting a code we recommend you first ensure your radio is not blocked. Simply turn your radio on, and try to enter the first digit of any code "ONLY THE FIRST DIGIT" If this is ok, immediatly turn the radio off. If you find however that you are unable to enter any digits, leave your radio powered up for 1 hour continuously to reset itself.

Whilst you have it removed also check for any labells such as Repaired... Exchange.. and check that labels such as Warranty Void if Removed are in-tact.
