Peugeot Radio Removal Guides

To decode your Peugeot radio we require the serial number. This is found printed on a lable, usually on the top or side of the radio.
To locate your serial number, the first step is removing keyword2 Peugeot radio from the vehicle.
Unfortunatly this is an essential step for online decoding, as we provide keyword3 original Peugeot radio code for your stereo based on the serial number, unlike main dealers who use keyword2 vehicles registration number.

  1. Simply insert the Peugeot removal tools or equivalent into the two or four slots to in the corners of the radio as illustrated above.
  2. Most require you to push the tools away from keyword3 radio which causes the clips to push into the radio and away from the dashboard to release
  3. If removing a peugeot 206 as above simply push straight in about 1 inch and keyword2 radio clips will automatically release
  4. The radio should easily slide out without too much pressure.

Peugeot Serial Number Location Guide

Once you have successfully removed your car radio, Locate the serial number by inspecting the top and right hand side of the Peugeot radio.

An example of serial numbers commonly found on Peugeot Car Radios :

  • GM0400Y1235654
  • PHAPCFFY1254556
  • RN279FY1545152
  • RG594FX1255456

Before getting a code we recommend you first ensure your radio is not blocked. Simply turn the Peugeot radio on, and try to enter the first digit of any code "ONLY THE FIRST DIGIT" If this is ok, immediatly turn the radio off. If you find however that you are unable to enter any digits, leave your radio powered up for 1 hour continuously to reset itself.

Whilst you have it removed also check for any labells such as Repaired... Exchange.. and check that labels such as Warranty Void if Removed are in-tact.

If your radio is blocked, or the codes you have or we supply fail to work, we also offer a Workshop Decoding service, allowing us to reset or reprogramme the majority of radios which require a code.
