Chrysler Radio Removal Guides
To locate your serial number, the first step is to remove keyword2 radio from the vehicle. We provide the original code for keyword3 radio based on the serial number, unlike main dealers who use keyword2 vehicles registration number. This means the codes we supply are accurate, especially if its a second hand unit or been replaced at any stage in its life, by a previous owner or dealer.
Chrysler radios do not require special tools to remove.
All that you required is a philips screw driver to remove the surrounding panels.
- Locate and remove the screws at the top of the surrounding panel and also at the bottom, usually near the ashtray area.
- Once removed you should be able to pull the panel away from the dashboard to reveal the radio's information.
- If you need to remove keyword3 radio they are normally held in place by 4 screws.
Once you have successfully removed keyword2 car radio, Locate the serial number by inspecting the top of the radio.

Simply turn the radio on, and try to enter the first digit of any code "ONLY THE FIRST DIGIT" If this is ok, immediatly turn the radio off. If you find however that you are unable to enter any digits, leave your radio powered up for 1 hour continuously to reset itself.
Whilst you have it removed
also check for any labells such as Repaired... Exchange.. and check that labels such as Warranty Void if Removed are in-tact.
If your radio is blocked, or the codes you have or we supply fail to work, we also offer a Chrysler Workshop Decoding service, allowing us to reset or reprogramme the majority of radios which require a code.
